Our Clients’ Success

Here are a few highlights of some of our client’s successes we’d like to share with you.

BACKGROUND
35-year old company with 5 locations in Arizona and California primarily using Yellow Page print advertising was experiencing diminishing returns and increasing vacancies.

GOAL
Increase occupancy by 10% within current advertising budget.

SOLUTION
We created an online company presence with a local community focus on schools and organizations to connect with the people in their neighborhoods. We developed a marketing message that positioned Lock-It Lockers as “Voted Best Rates” by their customers and used this online and in print ads.

Online Company marketing:

  • Company Web Site – optimized for all 5 markets including online special pricing and individual contact forms.
  • Site Links - posted specials on storage and local community directories.
  • Social Media - set up Facebook, Linked In and Twitter, posted Blogs.
  • Ad Word Campaign – ran Google and Yahoo ads for top key word phrases.

Local community marketing:

  • Community Associations – placed print ads in local publications and on merchant sites.
  • Universities – advertised in university, sorority and fraternity coupon books; placed online ads with universities, Google and Yahoo; blogged and twittered about summer specials.
  • Local flyers – locations distributed flyers to local apartment complexes and student unions.

RESULTS
Within one year we increased occupancy by 35% (25% higher than goal) and reduced the advertising budget over 20%, including all online/print ads and TK Marketing fees. Lock-It Lockers is now on Page One for top search words on all major search engines and is well positioned among their top competition.

BACKGROUND
25-year old company in Sedona, Arizona purchased a new Tour Reservations System. After two attempts to develop an integrated web site with this new system, Red Rock hired TK Marketing Results.

GOAL
Launch a new web site within 90-days fully integrated with a recently purchased online Tour Reservations System and all back-office systems operations. Site requirements included new company branding and search engine optimization to drive online traffic and maximize booking opportunities.

SOLUTION
We researched the competition to determine Red Rock’s most-valuable marketing position. We created a site design incorporating the new brand images, core values and marketing messages.

We worked directly with the Tour Reservations System management team to define the project, timeline and requirements to meet the client’s deadline. We also worked directly with the Red Rock management team to define the business rules, inventory management, pricing levels and accounting requirements.

RESULTS
We successfully translated all technical requirements to the programmers, met the client’s deadline and launched the web site and online reservations system without errors, bugs or issues.

In spite of the recession in travel and tourism, the new web site has exceeded all expectations for generating incremental revenue and continues to grow as a percentage of total sales.

BACKGROUND
Air One, Italy’s number two airline behind Alitalia wanted to establish a market position in the US with the expectation of launching service. Initially, Air One contacted Discover the World Marketing, a long-time associate of TK partners. Discover represented Air One in other countries but had an exclusive agreement in the US with Air One’s main competitor, Alitalia. Discover contacted TK to take over the marketing, travel-partner contract negotiations, travel agency support and launch of Air One in the US.

GOAL
Create and execute a marketing and administration launch plan, including:

  • Receive Airline Reporting Commission (ARC) approval to establish business operations in the US.
  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans.
  • Negotiate top tour operator, travel agency, wholesaler and student mover agreements.
  • Create trade web site and promotions to generate Air One awareness.
  • Set up travel agency group sales and administration call support.

SOLUTION
We fast-tracked the ARC application and received approval. We set up a trade web site with agency promotions to generate awareness. We negotiated travel-partner agreements and met with top travel agencies in Chicago and Boston, Air One’s two launch cities. We set up call support to answer trade questions and called hundreds of top agencies throughout the US to increase awareness.

RESULTS
We assisted in the successful launch of Air One in the US. We solved a sensitive client challenge for Discover and provided excellent service for Air One partners and clients. Shortly following the launch, Alitalia and Air One announced their merger and Discover renegotiated their exclusive agreement with Alitalia. TK successfully transferred the marketing and administration of Air One to Discover.
